Frequency  rang 1mHz to 350MHz 0.14mHz to  500MHz
Sensitivity 0.14mHz ~400MHz   :120mVpk

400MHz ~500MHz   :250mVpk

DC~100MHz:20mVpk, >100MHz:40mVpk
Measurement accuracy 11 Bits/second 12 Bits/second
Measurement resolution 50ps 20ps
Count 0 to 1019 0 to 1015

2. Functional Differences

1 S43230 Advantages:

The S43230 can measure frequency, period, count, pulse width and duty cycle on two channels simultaneously and display the measured values, and the gate times of the two channels can be different, while the Agilent 53230A can only display the measurement results of one channel, and the gate times of the two channels must be consistent;

S43230 can use a USB flash drive to store measurement results in real time, and there is no limit on the number of measurements, only the capacity of the USB flash drive. The storage process is real-time storage, and you can stop and remove the USB flash drive at any time to observe it on a computer. However, Agilent 53230A does not have the function of storing measurement results in a USB flash drive in real time.

2 Agilent 53230A Advantages:

Agilent 53230A can measure the rising edge, falling edge, time difference and phase of the channel 2 input signal, while S43230 can only measure the rising edge, falling edge, time difference and phase of the channel 1 input signal.
